About The Wild Crumb & Amy

Coeliac-Safe baking, honest guidance, and a gentler way to live gluten-free.

The Wild Crumb

A coeliac‑safe microbakery in the heart of Ulverstone, created for people who want food they can trust, flavours they can love, and a bakery experience that feels personal, slow, and full of care.

Every bake begins with intention: small batches, carefully sourced ingredients, and a dedicated gluten‑free environment where safety is non‑negotiable. Nothing rushed. Nothing mass‑produced. Just honest food made with craft and heart.

The Wild Crumb exists because coeliacs deserve more than “good enough.” They deserve food that is beautiful, safe, and made by someone who understands exactly what’s at stake.

Meet Amy - Founder, Baker, Coeliac, Storyteller

I'm Amy - the hands, heart, and slightly flour-dusted brain behind The Wild Crumb.

My journey into baking didn't begin with a love of pastry.  It began with a diagnosis.  Becoming coeliac changed everything: how I ate, how I travelled, how I trusted food, and how I felt in the world.

What began as a tiny experiment in my kitchen has grown into a microbakery, a soon-to-launch bakehouse trailer, and a space where coeliacs and sensitive eaters can finally exhale.

I'm not here to be famous.  I'm here to be useful - to create food and guidance that make life a little easier for people like me.

Safety is a form of love - every ingredient and workflow is chosen with coeliacs in mind.

Small-batch is a superpower - it allows for quality, intention, and connection.

Regional life is rich life - Ulverstone shapes my rythm: slow, grounded, community-centred.

Honesty build trust - I share the real parts of this journey: the jopy, the mess, the learning.
